Trucking Company Leases Acreage On Southwest Side

Trucking giant Schneider National Inc. has leased 17 acres for truck and trailer parking along with a 15,000-square-foot repair facility on the Southwest Side.
Schneider agreed to a 10-year lease for the property at 3600 S. Kostner Ave., just east of the Hawthorne Race Course in Cicero.

Starbucks to close 18 area stores: See if yours is on the list

Starbucks Corp. is closing 18 Chicago-area stores as part of its plan to shutter about 600 of its coffee shops nationwide.
