Daniel and Laura McShane have listed for sale a five-bedroom, two-bath home at 5207 N. Magnolia Ave. in Andersonville for $779,000.

The McShanes paid $820,000 for the property in July 2006. The 2,574-square-foot house was built in 1901. Pamela Ball of Bair & Warner is the listing agent for the home.

Mr. McShane serves as a corporate counsel at McShane Development Co. He oversees the companies’ legal matters in both real estate development and construction activities. Prior to joining the McShane Development Co., in 2005, he served as an associate in the real estate department of Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago.

He holds a B.A. in philosophy and psychology from Colgate University and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Ms. McShane is an associate at Winston & Strawn. She serves as a member of the firm’s employee benefits and executive compensation group. Prior to that, she was a member of it’s tax group.

She holds a B.S. in geology from Washington State University and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

There were 118 home sales in Andersonville in 2008, with a median sales price of $343,000.
