Leonard and Arlene Rosenberg sold a five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 235 Mary St. in Glencoe to Kara and Jonathan Herbst for $1.3 million on June 29.
The Rosenbergs bought the property for $1.375 million in July 2002. The 4,324-square-foot house was built in 1995 in the neighborhood of East Glencoe.
Mr. Rosenberg is a partner in the Chicago office of Mayer Brown International LLP. He focuses his practice on Chicago real estate transactions, investment structuring and commercial leasing.
He received his B.A. (1989) from Brandeis University and his J.D. (1992) from the Northwestern University School of Law.
There were 107 home sales in Glencoe in 2008, with a median sales price of $880,000.
