Linda T. Bruemmer bought a 2.5-bath home at 917 Westerfield Dr. in Wilmette from Rose F. Danielson, Carol Danielson-Critchell and Rosemary Danielson-Tupper for $487,500 on April 10.
The 1,715-square-foot house, which was built in 1968, is in the East Wilmette neighborhood.
Ms. Bruemmer is a senior consultant with High Potential, Inc. She has worked with Shields Meneley Partners and was director of career planning and placement for Elmhurst College. She has been a lead counselor and member of the student development faculty at Oakton Community College as well.
She earned her B.A. in sociology and M.A. in counseling from Northwestern University.
There were 248 home sales in Wilmette in 2008, with a median price of $650,000.
