The Alsikafis paid $667,000 for the 1,750-square-foot Unit #20J in Aug. 2004. The development at 1122 N. Dearborn St., which was built in 2000, has 104 units.
Mr. Alsikafi is a director at Madison Dearborn Partners and serves on the board of directors of First Wind Partners, LLC, Univision Communications, Inc., and US Power Generating Co. Prior to joining Madison Dearborn, he was part of the financial institution group at Goldman, Sachs & Co.
He received his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and obtained an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Ms. Alsikafi is the founder at ivymama LLC. Previously, she served as senior project director at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and worked as an investment associate at Nuveen Investments.
She attended Harvard Business School.
Sales at 1122 N. Dearborn St. were up 83.3 percent from 2007-2008. The median sales price was also up 11.2 percent during that time.
There were 425 condo sales in Near North in 2008, with a median sales price of $404,500.
