Robert J. DeMento, Cristina Elena and Weschler Demento bought a three-bedroom, three-bath condo at 2027 N. Howe St. in Lincoln Park from Christine and Robert Gilmore for $752,500 on Jan. 28.
The Gilmores bought Unit #1 for $775,000 in Aug. 2001. The 3,125-square-foot unit is one of three units in the development at 2027 N. Howe St.
Mr. DeMento is the director of business strategy at Vodori, a business consultancy in Chicago. Prior to Vodori, he was director of business development at Kosmo Medical Technologies and he was an associate at Hogan & Hartson LLP and at Frommer, Lawrence & Haug.
He graduated from Duke University in 199 and earned his J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law. He obtained an M.B.A. from the Northwestern University-Kellogg School of Management in 2009.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 678 condo sales in Lincoln Park during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $355,000.
