Bruce Miller of Jones Lang LaSalle will kick things off at the 8th Annual Commercial Real Estate Forecast Conference with an entertaining and informative 20-minute overview on the state of global, national and local commercial real estate capital markets and what is going to take to turn it around.

Miller is one of more than 50 speakers representing more than 40 companies participating in the annual event. Following Miller will be general sessions panels on the overall state of commercial real estate in Chicago, legal issues impacting real estate and the financial and investment markets. The conference concludes with breakout sessions that will feature a presentation on auctions and panel discussions on the suburban office, downtown office, industrial, investment, retail and property management sectors.

Each year since 2003 the Illinois Real Estate Journal, and sister publications Chicago Industrial Properties and Midwest Real Estate News, have produced the annual commercial real estate conference. In the last three years the conference has attracted more than 1,000 attendees.
