Joanne H. Sweeney bought a five-bedroom, 6.5-bath home at 159 Ravine Road in Hinsdale from Donna L. Rogers for $939,000 on Feb. 5.
Rogers paid $1.045 million for the property in Oct. 1998. The 4,243-square-foot home was built in 1998 in the Hinsdale Highlands neighborhood.
Sweeney is a partner in the litigation department at the Chicago office of the firm Jenner & Block. She is a member of the products liability and mass tort defense practice. She previously served as an adjunct professor at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and was head coach for Loyola’s national mock trial team. Additionally, she also served as dean of the College of Trial Lawyers of the Chicago Bar Association.
She received her B.S. from Miami University and her J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
