Reserve’s upgrades are standard

Given its location, the Reserve of St. Charles would have been an easy sell in a normal real estate market. But nothing has been normal about the real estate market for the past three years. Despite that, the subdivision’s builder believes home buyers will be attracted to what is being offered.

“We realize, and always have, that a person’s home is the biggest investment of their life,” said Robert Meyn, vice president of sales and marketing for Ryland Homes. “We’ve added three new exterior elevations of stone and brick combinations, creating a true custom ambience. Inside, we’ve included gourmet kitchens, fireplaces, solid core doors, crown molding throughout and chair rail with wainscoting in the dining room—all as standard.

“Reserve of St. Charles has a great address and great school district. It is the only new-home community in St. Charles where you can build on half-acre home sites, with city sewer and water and has a custom home feel with great value,” added Meyn.

The subdivision, on the north side of west suburban St. Charles, is a subdivision in which homes range from 2,400 square feet to more than 4,300. The city was named one of the 10 best places to live in the western suburbs by West Suburban Living magazine.
