Step 1: Select a Realtor
Finding the right Realtor is one of the most important home-buying decisions you will make. Remember to do your homework when selecting the right realtor. You should start with a handful of realtors and decide who is best fit from there.
Step 2: Should I Buy
What I mean by this is make sure you are ready to buy a home and renting is not the better option. Only you can make this decision. Also, you may want to wait longer so you can get an even better home.
Step 3: Set Your Price Range
Know how much you can spend! Dreaming of lavish homes beyond your means is not going to help the overall process. This may sound obvious, but it is vital that you strictly set your standards here.
Step 4: Secure a Lender
Find a lender who has credibility.
Step 5: Find the Right Home for You
I know when buying a new home it is easy to get impatient and spring. Be patient and make sure the home is what you really want. Nothing is worse than living in a home not right for you.
Step 6: Negotiate Your Purchase
A very important part of the process as im sure you already know, Again here be patient and make sure you are getting the best deal you can. Stay tough!
Step 7: Make Sure Everything’s in Order
Here I am talking about the home inspection, appraisal and home warranty. Don’t get suckered in to a bad deal. Make sure this is all taken car of to the T.
Step 8: Close the Deal
If you have gone through all these steps and they have gone well, there is no reason to chicken out now!
Step 9: Move In!
The best part! Move your furniture in your new home and enjoy!
